In this Month’s home inspection picture, we see a “reverse polarity” outlet (or a hot-neutral reverse). It is a common issue with a simple fix. It basically means that someone switched the hot and neutral wires. Remember: White wire to silver, black wire to gold. It’s an easy rule of thumb!
